The Maize Valley Winery - Raspberry Wine

I knew that Todd Vaughn must have been working on something special when first I saw the 375ml bottles at the Maize Valley Winery in Hartville, Ohio. After talking with Todd, I found out that he hand picked all of the raspberries for this years vintage. The wine itself has a medium to high residual sugar making this more of a dessert type of wine. The taste is a wonderful explosion of raspberry that you just don't find in artificially flavored products. Good job Maize Valley, I look forward to the next review opportunity.
